Mike Robinson is Chief Executive of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society (RSGS) and for the last 25 years has been one of the most central figures in climate change action nationally. In 2006 he helped establish and Chaired a broad climate coalition – SCCS – and has held around 40 board and advisory roles as a widely trusted advisor and convener across government, public, private, faith, charity and academic sectors.
In 2020 he wrote and launched a qualification in climate solutions for business leaders, which has now been taken up by around 100,000 people. He has hosted or worked with many of the leading global figures in the climate change arena and has given a large number of public talks, produced countless articles, and has commissioned books, two whiskies and a documentary about progress on climate action (Scotland : Our Climate Journey).
