Ann Donaghey MEng MSc FWES
Ann Donaghey is an engineering, operations and transformation leader with more than 20 years’ experience turning ambitious ideas into practical, scalable solutions across manufacturing, consumer goods, food, pharmaceuticals and emerging sustainable technologies.
She has led major international transformation, engineering and innovation programmes, including work across more than 130 manufacturing sites, and has particular expertise in operational excellence, digital transformation, scale-up, circularity and sustainable manufacturing.
Ann is a Fellow and Trustee of the Women’s Engineering Society, where she chairs the Climate Emergency Group, and is a Director of the International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists (INWES).
Passionate about using engineering as a force for positive change, Ann is particularly interested in helping young people bridge the gap between a great idea and real-world impact — challenging them to think about feasibility, people, resources, sustainability and how solutions can be successfully scaled.
