Nicolai Sederberg Rottbøll is the founder of Our World 2050, a global movement dedicated to amplifying the voices of children and young people in shaping a sustainable future. Through creative, participatory approaches, Our World 2050 engages young generations to express their hopes, dreams, and ideas for a better world and ensures these perspectives are heard by decision-makers, communities, and organisations worldwide.
With more than 20 years of experience in sustainability, climate action, and systems innovation, Nicolai has worked in over 45 countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. His work spans strategic ecosystem building, cross-sector partnerships, policy advising, and innovation leadership aimed at advancing sustainable development and climate resilience at scale.
Prior to founding Our World 2050, Nicolai played a key role in strengthening the Nordic cleantech and sustainability ecosystem through his involvement with Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster / CLEAN, supporting the growth and internationalisation of clean technologies and sustainable business solutions. His career reflects a lifelong commitment to catalysing impact at the intersection of people, planet, and prosperity.
