Josh spans research, consulting, convening, and advocacy for Cambridge Social Impact Consulting (CSIC). He previously led HFS Research’s sustainability practice, founded the still-active Critical Mass for Sustainability, advises global companies and startups, and builds coalitions.
Josh holds master’s degrees from Cambridge, an “MBA for engineers,” and Loughborough Chemical Engineering. He has worked in industry and academia. Josh has spoken at events like COP26 and COP29. He has lectured at Cambridge departments and beyond.
Josh is a former Cambridge City Councillor, holding the opposition “shadow” portfolio for climate, environment, and the city centre. He stood in the 2024 General Election and is currently active in London and in policymaking.
