Kevin Jang is an Earth and Planetary Science student at Imperial College London. He is passionate about using geological and geophysical techniques to better understand the processes that shape planets — from their internal dynamics and surface evolution to their interactions with the atmosphere and potential impacts on climate.
Beyond terrestrial systems, Kevin is particularly fascinated by how insights from other planetary bodies can inform our understanding of Earth’s evolution and future. He has a strong interest in the application of geoscientific methods in sustainable mineral exploration and resource management, recognising their importance in powering the global transition toward clean energy. He is also a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society.
