Spencer Kelly

Spencer Kelly is the BBC’s longest serving and most experienced technology presenter and journalist, and a keynote speaker at events across the globe.

He’s an internationally-known face of technology, hosting Click, the BBC’s worldwide technology TV programme, for more than 20 years. He also presents the BBC Radio 4 series Understand: Tech & AI, the tech section for BBC Morning Live, and has travelled the world, documenting how science and innovation is changing people’s lives in countries across the technology spectrum.

Spencer studied Artificial Intelligence at Cambridge University, and now talks about the impact of the latest AI developments on businesses, and how to navigate the rapidly changing world of emerging tech.

His audiences love his passion, enthusiasm, and sense of humour, which he uses to bring technical topics to life, and explain complex subjects to a broad audience.

His life-long love affair with technology has allowed him to write, direct and present hundreds of short films, and seen him win Tech Personality of the Year, lose Celebrity Mastermind (by a whisker), be awarded an honorary doctorate of Technology, front Panorama and present at the BAFTAs.
