Sam Goodfellow

Sam is an award winning biology teacher at Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School in Canterbury.

Here she has established a phenomenal wooded area at the back of the school and developed research into biodiversity and its links to mental and physical well being.  She received a Royal Society grant to undertake research into ‘Does Biodiversity make you happy?’ working with Professor Ed Turner at Cambridge https://biojoyversity.org/biodiversity-and-mental-health/

She has recently won a major seed grant from the Royal Society to extend student research and increase biodiversity across primary schools in Kent.
