Kieran is the Founder of Registered Charity, GET OUT, which through surfing and environmental education, connects young people from disadvantaged areas to nature as a means of its protection and to improve health and wellbeing. Kieran strongly believes that all people must be engaged with the natural world to ensure its protection, a vision that led him to found GET OUT.
Kieran holds a BSc and MSc in Ecology and his career to date includes a year in the remote Botswana bush and a year in the Nepalese Himalayas. He has over 4000 hours experience of leading groups in remote areas and has more than a decade’s experience working on conservation projects for non-profit organisations across 4 continents. He is a keen surfer and spends most of his free time in his native Ireland surfing the coast of Donegal.
