Jason is a Technical Manager in Electronics at the School of Engineering, University of Kent, with over 28 years of experience in electronics hardware engineering, R&D, and product design across diverse sectors such as medical diagnostics, marine instrumentation, and aerospace avionics. A specialist in electronics, he has developed and led innovative projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible in each field.
Outside of work, Jason is an audio enthusiast with a particular passion for loudspeakers and audio amplifiers. He enjoys designing and building hi-fi audio equipment. This hands-on hobby mirrors his love for technical precision and brings a unique depth to his expertise in electronics.
At the University of Kent, Jason combines his industry experience and practical skills to mentor and inspire the next generation of engineers, preparing them to tackle real-world challenges with creativity and technical excellence.
