Dr Claire E. Evans is Head of Geography at Bloxham School and a passionate advocate for empowering young people to engage meaningfully with the challenges of our changing planet. She is the co creator of the multi award winning Bloxham Sustainability Challenge, a project based national initiative developed in partnership with Dalcour Maclaren and supported by Esri UK. The programme includes the EPQ accredited Geospatial Innovation pathway, giving students the opportunity to tackle real world environmental issues through geospatial thinking, creativity and ambitious climate action.
Alongside her school role, Claire works as a Freelance Education Consultant for a range of publishers, developing teaching resources and delivering training. She has examined for several UK boards and authored a variety of GCSE and A Level learning materials.
With experience as a Lecturer in the School of Geographical Sciences at the University of Bristol, a volunteer Connexions Mentor, and Co Founder of C&G Consultancy, Claire has long been committed to helping young people build confidence, capability and a sense of agency in shaping their futures.
Claire is dedicated to connecting education, industry and community partners to inspire the next generation of environmental leaders.
