Lord Jim Knight is the former Minister of State for Schools and Learning. He is the new Chair of STEM Learning.
Jim has enjoyed a hugely influential and successful career in education and politics and was previously Chief Education and External Officer at TES Global.
He was Minister of State for Schools and Learning for three years in Tony Blair’s government before joining Gordon Brown’s Cabinet as Minster of State for Employment and Welfare Reform.
He’s also Chair of other organisations in education including Century Tech – a teaching and learning platform – the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and the Multi-academy trust E-ACT.
